FILM BIO:
Raised in the former Czechoslovakia, Zuzana’s curiosity with visual arts began its story behind the iron curtain. Since studying Film at Ryerson University, Zuzana has completed numerous films and photography essays, varying from documentaries to commercial projects. She has been awarded various scholarships, creative awards and film grants ranging from university ceremonies, international film festival screenings, to the National Film Board & TVO Calling Card Grant – directed an NFB documentary Heaven Or Not. Other notable Writer/Director credits: Cine Franco Film Festival 2003 Opening Trailer; Ontario Science Centre promotional spot ‘The Science Of Inspiration’; Short film Joy for the Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010; and MuchFACT/PromoFACT documentary-portrait of an alt-folk band ‘The Wilderness Of Manitoba’.
Zuzana continues the creative journey as a freelance photographer and filmmaker.
